Selection Criteria

The following criteria will guide the selection of awardees for excellence in business and enterprise among Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) across the globe. Each category carries equal weightage.
1. Leadership :

• Demonstrates visionary and inspirational leadership with a clear direction and purpose.
• Fosters a culture of excellence, inclusiveness, and active employee engagement.
• Builds and sustains high-performing teams through integrity, empowerment, and accountability.
2. Strategy :

• Implements clear and effective business strategies aligned with the organisation’s long-term vision.
• Adapts proactively to changing market conditions, global trends, and emerging technologies.
• Ensures alignment and clarity of purpose across all levels of the enterprise.
3. People Development :

• • Promotes upskilling, reskilling, and continuous education for employees at all levels.
• Encourages a positive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and wellbeing.
• Mentors and supports young entrepreneurs and new entrants into the global business landscape.
4. Business Results :

• Demonstrates consistent and sustainable financial performance, including profitability and growth.
• Shows strength in market positioning, customer trust, and operational efficiency.
• Delivers measurable impact through innovation, productivity, and business resilience.
5. Innovation & Creativity :

• Fosters a culture that values innovation, creativity, and calculated risk-taking.
• Encourages the adoption of emerging technologies and process improvements.

6. Social Responsibility :

• Upholds high standards of ethical business conduct and transparency.

8. In-kind or financial contributions/sponsorships towards Gopio's development.:

• Your generous support will play a vital role in empowering our programs, community outreach efforts, and overall mission to foster global engagement and growth."
Any additional achievements or relevant information may be included in an appendix.
Note: The final selection of awardees will be based on the collective evaluation of the team members and their respective inputs. The decision of the selection committee is final.
